Delaware's Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program

Did you know Delaware's Department of Agriculture offers (for qualifying applicants) the ability to get your pet fixed for $20, and a rabies vaccine included, up to three pets per year? There are many health benefits to having your pet fixed, and vaccinated. This program applies to both cats and dogs.

It's a great, affordable program, and is simple to do (only 2 simple pages need to be filled out, and you provide a few simple requested documents as well). Furthermore, many vet's offices, and shelters in all 3 counties participate in this program, so you're bound to find somewhere close to home which will perform the surgery.

Provided below is the phone, website link, and application form.
View their website to see if you qualify, and if you do, print out the application and follow the directions provided.

If you qualify, you'll need to mail everything in, and wait for the response.

If you qualify you then will receive a response by mail verifying your approval, and you can begin the next step of scheduling your pets surgery, using the list of participating facilities.

You then have up to 3 months from the approval date to have your pets surgery complete.

Keep in mind you still will be responsible for pre-surgical vaccines, and/or other tests that may arise, be sure to ask/check with the facility when you schedule your pet's surgery.
